Ride A Pet Blackhole & Cherub Egg Locations

All six reported Ride A Pet Blackhole and Cherub egg zones, with a fast search route through the Giant Tree, cave, cliffs, pyramid, and maze.

Quick answer

Blackhole Egg and Cherub Egg use the same six reported search zones: the Giant Tree, the waterfall cave, the cliffs outside the cave, the cliff between Forest and Desert, the Desert pyramid, and the hidden maze entered through the pond beside the pyramid.

Two independent location guides published September 16, 2026 agree on these zones. Both say the game announces the rare egg spawn at the top of the screen, and TechWiser reports that only one of the two eggs can spawn at a time. These are current player-guide findings, not permanent developer documentation, so recheck after a map update.

All six Blackhole and Cherub egg zones

# Zone Exact area to check Fast landmark
1 Giant Tree The small room near the top and the lower upper branches. Travel behind the Sell Shop toward the huge tree.
2 Waterfall cave Inside the cave hidden behind the waterfall. Go behind the Track Shop, find the river, and follow it upstream.
3 Outside the cave The cliffs immediately left and right of the far cave opening. Continue through the waterfall cave instead of turning back.
4 Forest–Desert cliff The cliff edge between Forest and Desert, near the right side of the beach. Sweep the biome border rather than the middle of either biome.
5 Desert pyramid Inside the opening in the pyramid. Head toward the Desert on the left side of the map.
6 Hidden maze The maze corners. Jump into the small pond beside the pyramid to enter.

1. Giant Tree

Start behind the Sell Shop and ride straight toward the Giant Tree. Climb to the top and check the small room first. Then inspect the slightly lower branches around the upper canopy. The guides describe multiple possible spots within this one zone, so seeing an empty room does not finish the check.

2. Cave behind the waterfall

Go behind the Track Shop, reach the river, and follow the water upstream. Enter the cave behind the waterfall and check the interior before moving through to the far exit. This is easy to miss if you treat the waterfall as a dead end.

3. Cliffs outside the cave

Continue through the cave until you reach its other opening. Climb out and check both sides: one cliff behind the opening and another to the left. Searching only inside the cave leaves this adjacent zone unchecked.

4. Cliff between Forest and Desert

Search the high edge where the Forest meets the Desert, near the beach side. Pro Game Guides reports two possible spots in this zone. A flying mount is especially useful here because the route involves elevation.

5. Desert pyramid

Travel toward the Desert biome and inspect the pyramid’s opening. Do this before entering the maze; it is a quick surface check and keeps the route efficient.

6. Maze below the pond

Find the small pond beside the pyramid and jump in to enter the maze. Check the corners methodically. Do not leave after the first empty turn—the egg can appear in different corners.

Fastest search order after the alert

If you are near the central shops when the announcement appears, use this order:

  1. Giant Tree room and branches.
  2. Waterfall cave interior.
  3. Both cliffs outside the far cave opening.
  4. Forest–Desert cliff edge.
  5. Pyramid opening.
  6. Pond entrance and maze corners.

The route groups adjacent locations and ends with the maze, where navigation takes longer. If your radar points elsewhere, trust its live direction over this fixed order.

Best preparation

  • Equip your fastest flying pet. Both location guides recommend speed, and Pro Game Guides specifically recommends Phoenix for the obstacles and elevated spots. Treat that as a practical source recommendation, not a verified universal best-pet stat.
  • Watch the announcement. Search only after the game reports a Blackhole or Cherub spawn.
  • Use the Ethereal Radar if available. The location guides report that it points to Ethereal eggs, but stock and price can change; use the current shop screen as the authority.
  • Turn home immediately after pickup. The gameplay guide and video show a break timer after carrying an egg. A clean return matters more than checking one extra zone.
  • Keep basket space open. If the interface reports that the egg basket is full, return and unload before continuing.

If the egg is not there

An empty zone does not prove the guide is wrong. Another player may have collected the egg, the active spawn may be in another listed spot, or the current server may have changed after the announcement. Recheck the live radar, confirm that you saw the current spawn message, and sweep every sub-location in the zone.

After a game update, treat map geometry and shop values as changeable. The six-zone list was corroborated across Pro Game Guides and TechWiser on September 17, with the ItzVexo walkthrough used as additional route context. This site did not perform an in-game reproduction, and it does not claim guaranteed availability or a fixed respawn timer.

What to do after pickup

Carry the egg back to your ranch plot, place it in an empty nest, dismount if the nest prompts you, and hatch it. The beginner guide covers that complete loop. For choosing the resulting mount, continue to the pets guide.
