How to rebirth in Ride A Pet
Your first rebirth requires a Horse and $1 million. Open Rebirth on the left side of the screen, meet both requirements, then use the green Rebirth button. Rebirthing resets your cash and purchased luck in exchange for a higher money multiplier, another ranch pet slot, and ranch cosmetics.
The September 17 Pro Game Guides walkthrough lists seven rebirths. Its first-rebirth screenshot shows the cash multiplier changing from 1× to 2×, a +1 pet slot, and Gold Base. The requirements below use that guide and the matching community tier list; check your next tier in the menu after a game update.
All seven rebirth requirements
| Rebirth | Required pet | Required cash |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Horse | $1M |
| 2 | Fox | $50M |
| 3 | Unicorn | $2.5B |
| 4 | Phoenix | $125B |
| 5 | Kitsune | $6.2T |
| 6 | Kitsune | $325T |
| 7 | Dragon | $50Qa |
M means million, B billion, T trillion, and Qa quadrillion. Keep the pet for your next tier instead of selling it while saving cash. A full cash bar alone is not enough: the required pet must also be available in your ranch or inventory.
Kitsune appears at both tiers 5 and 6. The table lists eligibility requirements, not a pet-consumption rule; the available guide and screenshot do not establish whether a required pet is consumed. Do not sell a spare solely on the assumption that one Kitsune will cover both resets.
What resets, and what do you gain?
| Part of your progress | Rebirth effect |
|---|---|
| Cash | Your current cash balance resets. |
| Purchased Hatch Luck | Luck bought from the board inside your ranch resets. |
| Money multiplier | The guide reports an increase of +1× per rebirth; the first panel shows 1× → 2×. |
| Ranch capacity | One additional pet slot per rebirth. The guide lists 12 slots after all seven. |
| Ranch appearance | Rebirths unlock ranch skins; the first panel displays Gold Base. |
The cash multiplier and added slots are the lasting progression rewards. Purchased luck is not a permanent rebirth reward. Avoid buying another luck upgrade immediately before pressing Rebirth, because that purchase is part of the reset.
Completing the first rebirth
- Get and keep a Horse. This is a pet requirement, not a request to equip any fast mount. Use the pets guide to compare the rest of your lineup while you work toward it.
- Save $1M cash. Place your stronger earners on the ranch and collect their income. Avoid a purchase that drops your balance below the requirement just before resetting.
- Open Rebirth from the left menu. Check both the cash progress bar and the Horse requirement. The published screenshot has roughly $19M available but still shows a dark Horse requirement, illustrating why cash alone is insufficient.
- Press the green Rebirth button when both requirements are met. The pink Skip button shown beside it is a separate option, not the normal progression step.
- Use the extra ranch slot. Place an income pet in the newly available slot and begin saving toward the Fox and $50M requirement for tier 2.
How to progress faster between rebirths
The required pet and the required cash are separate goals. If you already have enough cash but lack the pet, prioritize hatching rather than waiting at the ranch. If you have the pet but lack cash, keep your income slots productive instead of selling the required pet for a short-term boost.
Use a fast mount for egg runs and an income-focused lineup on your ranch. The beginner guide covers radar use, returning eggs, and placing pets; the Blackhole and Cherub guide covers the rare-egg routes. Weather mutations can improve a pet’s earning rate as well as its travel speed.
Rebirth is most useful when you can put the extra slot and money multiplier to work. Keep upgrades focused on your next bottleneck: the pet requirement, egg-return time, or cash income. Buying luck and immediately resetting it works against that goal.
Why is the Rebirth button unavailable?
- Enough cash, missing pet: check the named pet requirement, not just the cash bar.
- Pet obtained, cash too low: collect ranch income and postpone optional spending until you meet the listed amount.
- You just finished a tier: the next rebirth has a different cash target and may require a different pet.
- Your menu differs from this table: use the requirement shown for your current tier; the table reflects the September 17 guides.
